Design: The Paris of Patrick Jouin

Known for his architectural projects and his works in furniture, Patrick Jouin has a new showing in Sao Paulo, in comemoration of the Year of France in Brazil. ”A Paris de Patrick Jouin” is in the ground floor of the Tomie Ohtake institute until september 27th and shows around 150 pieces projected by the designer.
Smaller projects, like the furniture line of Solid Collection, are side by side with bigger projects like Vélib’, a revolutionary bike sharing program that is available in the whole city of Paris. Also important creations in the designer’s history, like the Alessi Pasta Pot, a pot with a support for a spoon that was developed with the famous chef Alain Ducasse.
Another attraction is the Extreme WOW Suite, a conceptual reinterpretation of traditional presidential suites, made in a partnership with Sanjit Manku. They are the partners responsible by the YTL Residence, from YTL, the company which the green project generated the Bird Island).
With free entrance, the exhibition is opened from tuesdays to sundays, from 11 am to 8 pm.
